The Château de Forges, classified as a historic monument by the French Ministry of Culture, is now open for special events which can be enjoyed in its unique medieval splendour. The Château is available to welcome you and your clients for a wide range of activities that will take place against the background of its turreted fortifications – press days, company gatherings, cultural events, brainstorming sessions and professional training programmes can all be organised on a daily basis for anything between 20 and 200 people.
You can organise that special event and at the same time enjoy the glories of times past in the historic guard-room with its two reception areas of 100 square metres each, thoughtfully designed for speakers who have presentations to make, both equipped with all facilities as well as reception areas for drinks, buffets and luncheons. A 50 square metre marquee can also be made available right next to the Château, overlooking the valley of the River Anglin. Different types of seminars can be organised over several days and accommodation is available not only in the Château de Forges but in other châteaux in the immediate area, within a radius of no more than ten kilometres.
You will be welcomed with drinks served in front of a fireplace of truly magnificent proportions.
Communications equipment as well as other essential office facilities can be made available to maximise the quality of your stay: these include screens, projectors, DVD players, television, sound equipment, internet, flip-charts and photocopying facilities.
Coffee and tea breaks as well as bar facilities can also be laid on to ensure the smooth running of your day.
Buffet or more formal lunch as well as dinner (either cold plate or cooked dishes) can be organised to suit your needs.
A programme of different types of entertainment can also be organised for your guests; these include story-telling, traditional music, lectures and visits to places of interest; and, to complete your day, a programme of sporting activities can be laid on, which include expeditions by canoe, plane or bicycle.
